This free community, family friendly event celebrates our iconic species in the heart of the Sawtooth mountains in Stanley, Idaho each August. Our festival celebrates the return of Idaho’s unique salmon populations that travel over 900 miles from the ocean to spawn in the Sawtooth Valley. Our team works with non-profits and government agencies to highlight the importance and urgency needed to protect and restore Idaho salmon by emphasizing the cultural, economic, and ecological importance of this iconic species.
This year, with the support of local business in Stanley, Idaho, we are expanding our event to be a multi-day festival filled with salmon redd tours, guest speakers, musicians, salmon-themed activities, and so much more.
