Formerly Boise Goathead Fest, a new community event, Open Streets Boise, will be on September 22nd from 12 PM – 5 PM on Latah Street. With support from the City of Boise, the Boise Bicycle Project will put on this dynamic event and transform neighborhood streets into car-free community spaces, allowing residents to bike, walk, and roll together! Attendees can enjoy local food, businesses, bikes, art, family-friendly entertainment, and live music, creating a welcoming atmosphere to come together and reimagine Boise streets as a place for people, not just cars.
Evolving from the beloved Boise Goathead Fest, Open Streets Boise will build on its legacy, moving through different neighborhoods each year to showcase local businesses. You can still find wonderfully weird ways to celebrate at the “Boise Goathead Fest Zone,” featuring live DJs, goathead artwork, funky bikes, and beer from Lost Grove Brewing.
