A few highlights of foodie news from my River Morning reports this week.
Tonight (Fri.) is cruise night at Bad Boy Burgers II on Fairview in Boise. Bring those old rides to the parking lot for show and shine. Get some food and then cruise at 7:45
Woodland Empire Ale Craft has reopened. Hours are 4-10 pm.
Caffe Lucianos along the River says the entire menu is back. Look at this yummy.
Big City Coffee in the Linen District will be open Saturday and Sunday for dine-in and takeout. They’ve done a lot of remodeling since March. They added cows to the sign out front.
Flying Pie has started the countdown clock for Habanero pizza season. It begins on June 22nd.
Richard’s Restaurant at the Inn at 500 Capitol has expanded the dining room and bar outside, to the second floor plaza. Open Wednesday through Saturday.
Black Rock coffee partnered with Zeppole bakery. All five Black Rock locations are selling pastries.
Accordion duet tonight at 6 at the Schnitzel garden in Eagle. Please make a reservation. Free sample of the music:
And thank you to the people who tagged me on Facebook and Instagram about the new Oreo cookies. Lucky Charms Oreos. Only…they aren’t real. That’s just a photoshopped package. But I like the idea!
