This style is of machine is called a “wedge head,” describing the shape of the top piece. It doesn’t have a plunger to launch the ball. The ball is parked at the front of the play field. Press the right flipper button to “kick” it out. While there is an on/off switch for the game, another way to turn it off is to kick the bottom of the box. It’s a rough way to treat a machine, but a cool party trick.
